What Causes Red Itchy Pimples on the Face?

Zits or red itchy pimples on the face are best if left alone. Touching it or pricking them will make the condition worse and even last longer. The best way to deal with such a condition is to let it heal naturally without futzing with it. Everyone gets itchy pimples and there is nothing to be ashamed of.

Most of these people who suffer from itchy pimples are not aware that they must not fiddle with it. Though keeping your hands off the pimple is not going to speed up the healing process but it will help you stay away from other infections such as staph.

Depending on its causal organisms, pimples are of various types. It is particularly identified by the area of the body where they appear. There are a number of factors that causes itchy pimples however no definite cause has been known so far. Bacteria, whether known or unknown, is one of the major causes.

It is very difficult to keep your hands away from touching or pricking the pimples however it is strictly advised to keep off your hands. One main reason behind it is that if there are bacteria dwelling in your nails then it can easily get transferred to the zits which will only worsen the problem.

Another reason of an itchy pimple could be due to irritation, hives, heat etc. Take proper care of your skin as extreme lack of moisture can also lead to itchiness and irritation. Acne Rosacea is a type of red itching pimples that is also known as Adult pimples.

As far as the treatment of red itchy pimple is concerned, you can use an acne cream or even try out different acne gel keeping in consideration the area where the pimple has appeared. You can even try using a light moisturizer to help you relieve the itchiness. Finally if nothing works then it is best to consult a dermatologist.

I have this slightly reddish color bump on my face which neither comes off nor goes in. any ideas what could it be???
I did have a battle with pimples a couple of years ago. What I did was crush some gooseberries and squeezed the juice out. Applied it on the areas with pimples and left it for about 15 mins and then wash it off. After doing it regularly for about a month, all the pimples were gone.

what the hell! these ichy pimples are making me not attend my classes. am just staying indoors feeling ashamed, shy, rejected. am just stressed up
